Hi, I’m Libby!

Parkville speech therapist

I’m a life long Kansas Citian, mom of two, and speech language pathologist. I started More Than Words to be able to continue helping children gain confidence, meet goals, and communicate in all types of settings. My role as a mom has made me even more passionate about my work. I understand the importance of thoughtful and personal patient care and want to ensure all parents and kids feel heard about their unique concerns.

In the past eight years I have had experience serving a wide range of ages in the public school and private practice settings. In addition to my clinical experience, I have completed many professional trainings in literacy, speech sound disorders, and executive function.

While it is my passion to continue learning and keep up to date with evidence based practices, I have found the most important aspects of therapy are building a connection with my patients and clearly communicating with their families.

I love spending time with my family and friends, traveling, sports, listening to music, and being outside.
